The tale of two cities? Naaa, ours is the tale of two continents! Josh and Brandon grew up in South Africa, while Bri and Devin were raised in the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave.

In Joseph Campbell's Hero's Journey, the hero has to leave the known world and venture into a new place, fraught with both opportunity and challenge. As Josh and Brandon traveled extensively (Josh as an adventurer and Brandon as a pro surfer), the known world dissolved fully for the two of them when a mystical experience sent Josh into the spiritual dimension and he was diagnosed with bipolar 1. Supported by Brandon, he emerged with a fresh perspective on the nature of reality.

Bri's known world was also dissolved when her boyfriend of 5 years died from a shark attack at age 19, which they both had premonitions about the day before. She suddenly saw through the veil of triviality that society is often engrossed in and discovered a paradigm-shifting spiritual dimension. Devin, also raised in California, was living the dream...from the outside. Inside life was seeming more and more mundane, and while at Berkeley, he decided it was time to end it. After jumping off a 3 story building head-first, he is now in a wheelchair. And yet, it was in losing himself that he found himself...and God! He says the new meaning and purpose he has now has left his life better now than it ever was before!

These four lives intersected when Josh and Brandon moved to San Diego, California and were guided to intersect paths with Bri and Devin. Josh and Bri are married with two daughters and founded Inspired Mind Mental Health, and Brandon has developed stylish product lines that are taking off like wildfire, all with depth and freedom in mind. Devin has brought his wealth of wisdom and experience into the mix, and has teamed up with Inspired Mind, enriching our mission in myriad ways with his profundity and wisdom!

It's our aim to bring the depth and power of African origins, into synergy with the culturally-transformative power of California, and to position ourselves perfectly for this coming energetic wave. Which is going to be thrilling to ride, which is going to transport us as a society to all new places, and which is going to leave the sandbanks of the underlying terrain forever changed for coming generations.
